About Me

Hi. I’m EY. Also known as The CRM Ninja

Here’s a picture of me. Credit to Mark Seymour for enabling me to actually look good in a picture! (https://www.markseymourphotography.co.uk/)

I’m married with THREE lovely beautiful children (the picture above was before they came along – you can’t see my lack of sleep in it!), and an absolutely wonderful wife (who sometimes wonders if she should work in the CRM space…)

I’ve worked with technology for over a decade. Actually, that’s not quite correct. I’ve been playing around with technology for over two decades, and have been fortunate enough to have a career around a passion of mine, which I’ve found to be vitally important. The way in which technology has evolved is seriously amazing, and I’m doing my best to keep on top of things.

I have several passions. One of them is travelling, and I’ve been to quite a few interesting and exotic destinations around the globe. I simply love the Middle East, as well as the West Coast of the USA. Quite some fond memories there, and can’t wait to get back to it

A second passion is my motorbike, which is one of the reasons I’ve called myself The CRM Ninja – I have a Kawasaki ZX9R (F model), which is simply amazing. It’s my third motorbike, and I’ve now had this one the longest. Though I love riding it, I’ve also taken other motorbikes out at times, especially for track days. The picture below shows me tearing around the track at Silverstone in the UK, which was really amazing – it was the week before the MotoGP tournament.

Finally, one former passion of mine (that I miss) was skydiving – I was a fully licensed skydiver, and loved nothing better than to jump out of perfectly good airplanes at around 15,000 feet

If you’re interested (or just curious) to see a little more of me jumping, take a look at the video below -itt shows one of the jumps that I did

I do regret not being able to do a HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jump, but we can’t get everything in life after all! One of the remarkable things about skydiving is the utter sense of peace whilst ‘floating’ in mid-air.

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience being in several different companies over the years, as well as running my own (small) company for a few years. It’s given me the general breadth and depth of knowledge to understand what others can be facing, both in terms of possibilities as well as challenges.

I like nothing better than to be able to see how technology can support and enable us, from massive systems to mobile devices. Realising the potential of all of these enables really can make our eyes open wide in surprise as we understand the possibilities.

I hope that you’re enjoying reading my blog articles, and that some of them are coming in useful. Please do reach out if there’s anything that I can help you with!
